Description

Description:

Are you tired of cheap scope rails getting beaten up by recoil, or letting your scope rings slip?

If so, my premium stainless steel or titanium scope bases offer slopes up to 40 MOA, and do so with unmatched quality. Your Savage is probably a tack driver -- do you really want to go with "good enough" for your scope base?

My Picatinny style mounts are proudly made here in Boise, Idaho on state of the art CNC equipment. You have a choice between 17-4 Stainless Steel, or the ultimate: Grade 5 Titanium. That's right, the same material used in the SR71 Blackbird. Your rifle probably doesn't do Mach 3, or travel at 80,000 ft, but if it did, Murphy Precision bases could take it.

All of my bases are precision machined to tighter tolerances than allowed under the Picatinny standard (MIL-STD-1913), ensuring complete compatibility with all Picatinny style, as well as Weaver style scope rings.

Available finishes are a natural, satin silver finish (bead blasted), or an incredibly tough black finish called GunKote. Polished (mirror shiny) finishes are available for an additional charge.

Application:

New (Mid 2020 - onward) Savage "110" models chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. Despite the 110 model suggesting these are long actions, they are in fact short action rifles. Base is machined for the required 8-40 screws as well.

Specs:

Weight:Stainless: 5.5 oz, Titanium: 2.98oz Length: 5.990" Front Height: .390" Rear Height: .390"

Hole Spacing:

1st to 2nd: 0.860" 1st to 3rd: 4.800" 1st to 4th: 5.660"

** Each base ships with #8-40 alloy steel Torx screws, and a T15 Torx wrench.

    Top notch quality and service

My 110 ultralite elite came in with the pic rail missing from the box. The dealer said it would take a week and local gun shops that had bases were 6061 and not flat at all. It was comical and I had a hunting trip in 3 days. I called Murphys on a Thursday to ask if I purchased a base with one day shipping could they get it out the same day. He checked his stock and had what I needed and said it would and that he would be watching for the order. I made my order and the following day, today, Friday it was at my south east Texas door at 12:45. I couldn’t be more happy with it. Laid the base on my action and I was very happy to see that it fit like a latex glove. Shined a light and could see none shining through the mating surfaces. From one self taught manual and cnc machinist who is extremely picky that will nitpick about the smallest details I couldn’t be happier. When someone takes pride in their work it benefits both parties and there is no doubt there is lot of pride that goes into his work. I don’t mean the sinful pride either. I mean the pride or high standard you hold yourself to and I respect that being a machine shop owner. So yeah I recommend any of his products.
