    Expensive, but worth it.

So, let’s address the obvious - these are expensive, but in my opinion, they are worth it if you have the money. I was looking to upgrade my Knight Long Range Hunter to a 30mm scope, but couldn't find a mounting system that I really liked. Knight muzzleloaders aren’t as popular as they once were and scope mounting options are limited. I was on a muzzleloader forum and a gentleman from Bestill Creations said to take a look at Murphy Precision because they had an extremely high-quality picatinny rail that would fit a Knight and would allow me to use all five mounting holes that were drilled in the Knight’s receiver. I decided to purchase one and as soon as I open it and put it in my hand, I knew the money was well spent. You could almost “smell” the quality. The fit and finish was outstanding, it fit the receiver perfectly and the lock up with my Warne rings was rock solid. I followed Murphys instructions on bedding the mount with JB Weld, which I had never done, and it turned out awesome. Waited 24 hours after bedding, mounted the scope and had it sighted in at 100 yards in four shots. Recently walked it out to 125, 150, 175, and 200 yards with no issues. I’m pretty sure I’ll never have to remove this from my muzzleloader and it will accommodate any future scope changes if needed. I just purchase a second one for a Knight DISC I also own, went through the same process and had it sighed in at 100 yards in only two shots. This is a great product and if you do decide to buy one, my guess is you won’t be disappointed.
